For this Miami Florida food staple, start by marinating the chicken. Simply cover it with buttermilk and store it in the refrigerator for 12 hours or so.
Combine the flour with baking powder, spices, and salt. Remove the chicken drumsticks from the buttermilk and dredge them in the flour mixture. Remove any excess buttermilk by shaking.
